Meet WENDY

Kia ora, I’m Wendy. I live in Upper Hutt with my husband and two children, and I’ve been working with individuals and groups for over 12 years in counselling and social work.

I’ve always been passionate about helping people find their potential and purpose, not just to get through hard times, but to create lasting change that makes life feel more meaningful and fulfilling.

I’ve always been passionate about helping people find their potential and purpose not just to get through hard times, but to create lasting change that makes life feel more meaningful and fulfilling.s deeply shaped the way I support women. I understand the fears, the grief, and the search for a “new normal.” A big part of my work now is walking alongside women during their own diagnosis, recovery, and healing journeys.

How I Can Help?

Whether you’re navigating a difficult life transition, carrying unspoken grief, or wanting to feel more balanced and purposeful, my role is to support you with compassion and practical tools.

I offer a 1:1 program called Moving Forward — a 3-month journey designed to help women who have completed cancer treatment find their confidence, reconnect with their bodies, and discover what life looks like now. It’s about healing emotionally, letting go of guilt, and finding hope again.

Alongside this, I also work with clients in other areas of life such as:

  • Anxiety & depression
  • Pre & postnatal support
  • Loss & grief
  • Relationship & communication challenges
  • Workplace concerns
  • Self-development & goal setting
  • Planning for the future
  • Creating life balance

I know the thought of meeting with a stranger to talk about deeply personal issues can feel overwhelming. That’s completely normal.

My job is to create a safe, welcoming space where you don’t have to wear a mask. Together, we’ll explore whatever has brought you here, and I’ll support you with empathy, clarity, and practical strategies.

If you’d like, we can start with a free 15-minute chat to see if we’re the right fit for each other.

There is great strength in vulnerability, as it takes courage to push through the fear and share one's true self with others.
